Heloise, this a great site to follow you and your cat's antics and kitty art. That cat rejoicing on top of the washing machine made me grin from ear to ear. My crazy kitty likes to jump up on the warm counter covering my dish washer. It’s always a battle of wills. He’s trained not to head for the kitchen, or so I thought, but I find his cat hair there once I get home from work. Cats have us wrapped around their tiny claws like bandages around a mummy. It seems more like he owns me than, I own him. That’s why I enjoyed your wistful illustrations . You can tell that cats have been a part of your life and art since you were a child. Is your cat a Tabby in your illustrations? I have an affinity for gray cats. We had a Russian Blue when I was a kid, and it growled like a dog if it took to disliking you. Funny stuff with the cat snoozing on your rear as you attempt a Yoga position.
